Wine and The Spirit

17-09-2023

“These men are full of new wine.”

“For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.”

“And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:”

“Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: And whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.”

‭‭“And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;”

“Who hath woe? Who hath sorrow? Who hath contentions? Who hath babbling? Who hath wounds without cause? Who hath redness of eyes? They that tarry long at the wine; They that go to seek mixed wine. Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, When it giveth his colour in the cup, When it moveth itself aright. At the last it biteth like a serpent, And stingeth like an adder. Thine eyes shall behold strange women, And thine heart shall utter perverse things. Yea, thou shalt be as he that lieth down in the midst of the sea, Or as he that lieth upon the top of a mast. They have stricken me, shalt thou say, and I was not sick; They have beaten me, and I felt it not: When shall I awake? I will seek it yet again.”

“Awake, ye drunkards, and weep; and howl, all ye drinkers of wine, because of the new wine; for it is cut off from your mouth.”

“But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.”

Wine, The Spirit; In excess, Judgeth all things; The Darkness, The Light; the world, Heaven; Damnation, Ascension.

Perdition, Awakening.

Chaos and Order

The most archaic duality of dualities.

Be not enticed by gestures in the alley, do not look slaves in the eye, do not lay in the arms of immoral woman. For there is much guile in the dark, there is much resentment in the trapped eye; lest when thou open thy eye in solitude, then realize thy heart was taken, scattered across the street under the crowd’s feet.

Rid thyself of the dark and come in the Light! Though the Sun will scorch thy skin, yet not above that ya are able. Brethren, let the Light shine upon all thy darkness, let it cleanse thee of thy filth! Behold, gentle undercurrent rots the heart, yet the blinding glare does good like a medicine.
